This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks

View of unidentified art enthusiasts as they attend a party in the home of Beverly Hills investor Sidney Brody and his wife, Los Angeles, California 1959. On the wall behind them is a large ceramic piece by Henri Matisse entitled La Gerbe (The Sheaf) (1953). It was commissioned by the Brodys in the 1950s and weighed around 2000 pounds; Mrs Brody's will left the work to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), where it was moved in 2010.
