Done in watercolor and ink., the "more" sign is transposed slightly over the wrist of the "I love you sign," making one sign dependent upon the other. The meaning is clear: You love me? Yes, my darling, I love you too. In fact, I love you more - more than there is water in the sea, more than there is sky, more than there are leaves on the trees, more than life itself. I love you more...

The American Sign Language sign for I LOVE YOU is a combination of the letters "I," "L", and "Y" - i for I, l for love, and y for you. The sign for "More" is made by touching the fingertips and thumb of both closed hands together. I love you more.
