This is the most beautiful painting! I feel lucky and blessed that I came across it! My husband and I honeymooned in Mo’orea and we had taken many pictures in front of this church. To find that Greg Collins painted it was such a joy! We will treasure it forever!

I was super-pleased with my photo print purchase! Like many people, I’m sure, when making online purchases there’s always just a little voice of skepticism in the back of my mind. I knew I liked the image, but had to roll the dice that it would look good in person, the frame would be adequate, etc. I must say it exceeded even my hopeful expectations! First of all, the packing was stellar. The photo print did look great in person, and the framing was WAY better than I was expecting! It was ready to go with a sturdy hanging wire already in place. Unfortunately it was a gift, so I don’t have a photo of it on my wall! I did, however, open and inspect it before wrapping it and re-shipping (in the same stellar packing!). I would easily recommend FineArtAmerica and will happily shop with them again in the future…worry free!

Base artwork for the vintage movie poster ''A Place in the Sun'' a 1951 American drama film directed by George Stevens, based on the 1925 novel "An American Tragedy" by Theodore Dreiser. Starring Montgomery Clift, Elizabeth Taylor, and Shelley Winters, the film tells the story of a young man's ambition, desire, and moral dilemmas as he becomes involved in a love triangle that leads to tragic consequences.
In "A Place in the Sun," Montgomery Clift portrays George Eastman, a poor and ambitious young man who moves to the city to seek his fortune. He takes a job at his wealthy uncle's factory, where he becomes romantically involved with co-worker Alice Tripp, played by Shelley Winters. However, when George meets the beautiful and wealthy socialite Angela Vickers, played by Elizabeth Taylor, he becomes enamored with her and begins a passionate affair that threatens to unravel his carefully constructed world.
