Description

This lane, just 15 minutes walk from my home, enters the centre of Terque in La Alpujarra Almeriense, Almeria, Andalucia, Spain. It is one of my favourite views of the village with the church, palm trees and, on the right, Casa de los Caballitos, one of the finest of the grand houses at the bottom of the village. The oranges this time of year add colour to the foreground. A lovely composition for a painting.
Schmincke Horadam watercolours on canvas primed for watercolour by Bunt 40cm x 30cm. Schmincke watercolour fixative.
