1979 Chrysler LeBaron Town & Country.
A classic American automobile that lots of us have seen on big and small screens alike. A car that we readily associate with the all American family.
These V8 monsters of the road were really the forerunners of the minivan as they could comfortably seat 5 or squeeze in a 6th person. They had a tremendous amount of storage in the tailgate/boot and had the advantage of roof racks if more storage was needed.
These were widely associated with the American family road trips because of the space, storage and gas guzzling engine!
Thatβs my view of this iconic vehicle from outside of the great US of A, but perhaps thereβs a different perspective of it from within?
