Description
This is the famous "Lovers Beach" Cabo San Lucas Mexico right before you get to The Arch or El Arco to the locals. Getting on and off the boat to Lovers Beach was tricky. The other side of the Arch and this beach is the raging Pacific where the undertow is like none I have seen...even walking ankle deep.
By the time my hubby was in the boat leaving this beach, the sea was pulling the boat from shore hard and quick! A gentleman held the boat as long as he could..enough for me go get to the 2nd step on the ladder of the boat as it was pulled out to sea....I held on hard til I made it into the boat. We had waterproof cameras on our trip to Lovers Beach...good thing! While braving it out to snorkel at Lovers Beach, the current pressed Gary against the cliff on the left. Both of his legs got scraped up badly as its very sharp..scars to prove it!. I grabbed his hand & pulled him away so he could swim. I returned the favor... as I chased angel fish into a rocky shallow area, waves were beating me into the very sharp rocks. My hands ended up getting cut up trying to push myself backwards against the waves. He grabbed my ankle & pulled me out.
Trip not recommended for youngsters!! All in the life of nature photographers. Use the buddy system! Be safe!

Thank you so much Allison. I was freezing in the Sea of Cortez to get it. Water temp was near 60 degrees! Brrr. Thank you!
