All work in this group begins with a shutter release BUT it must be artistically modified creating art that obviously did not come straight out of a camera.
You can creatively manipulate photographs in different ways: textures, overlays, digital paintbrushes, composites, etc. Over processing is fine but only minor adjustments like saturation, black and white, sharpening the image, vignette borders, selective color, etc WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED unless also combined with other modifications.
The modifications must be obvious effects. Use the description to tell the audience about your original photograph and some of the associated modifications **
Rules:1. Family-friendly! Absolutely NO nudity, sexuality, politics or violence, etc. ***
2. Images that are super text imposed or have distracting written messages will be removed.
3. MUST be a digital manipulation of your original photograph
4. NOT accepted: unaltered or not-obviously altered photographs; full-digital work; pure AI or computer-generated images; traditional paintings; digitally altered traditional paintings.
With all the AI related tools these days, it's sometimes difficult to tell if an artwork actually started as a photograph, so PLEASE USE THE DESCRIPTION to explain the photograph you started with, or risk having your artwork rejected
