Parks of Britain

I shall concentrate upon the parks of South Manchester and Cheshire, moving outwards towards Tameside and Stockport.
Happy to see photography and artworks.
I have only used a capital P for parks in the group name, to hopefully indicate that although many of the areas to be considered do not have 'park' in their name or title, they should still be offered to the group.
I hope to give a chance to all those valuable areas that are often neglected, yet would hold a special place in local people's lives.
Please try to avoid offering images of our magnificent national parks or from the large charitable organisations; since the Lake District, Peak District, National Trust, Royal Horticultural Society etc are well represented elsewhere.
I am thinking of pocket parks often maintained by volunteers; local council parks which could always use better resources; long strips of parkland alongside river banks; cycling and walking routes.
Hopefully other FAA members can offer these sorts of parks and neighbourhood areas from their own localities.
