This was my second t-shirt purchase with art by this artist. They both turned out lovely. Mr Urrizaga's art is wonderfully imaginative and colorful. The only thing more difficult than choosing an image was choosing the proper color shirt.

Love the quality and colors
I have been going through an old box of work from art school that was stored in my parents's home. I came across this plein air watercolor done on the slushy streets of Newark, NJ. from around 1966. I remember clearly the day I painted this and having a hole in the loafers I was wearing being blocked by a piece of matte board. Notice I was still signing my name as "Don Maier" here before I opted to use only my last name.
Donald Maier graduated from the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Arts, in Newark, New Jersey in 1968. He won several state and local show awards in the early seventies, including 1st place in oils at the Garden State Art Center in 1971, 1st place for Watercolor at the Red Bank Festival of Arts in 1972 and an Honorable Mention in the Emerging Artists exhibit at Rutgers University in 1973. He had numerous one-man shows in both New Jersey, California and Georgia and has exhibited in many fine galleries in California, Scottsdale, Arizona, Santa Fe, New Mexico and Georgia.
