New Blog Entry? - Post It Here

If you have been posting in the old thread from Nikolyn, we have been talking that it is getting a bit long, so . . . I invite you to post links to your latest blog entry here. She will share the link to the old discussion thread to keep this all connected.

Also, if you are not blogging on FAA or thinking about doing so, I have updated my blog entry for your information here: https://fineartamerica.com/blogs/the-benefits-of-fineartamerica-blogs.html

OK - moving new blog post links to this thread.

Yes, as Frank said: Frequent blogging can and does make a difference. However, I post articles on my own sites/blogs because I want Google and Bing to index my content (there is a "noindex" tag on FAA blogs). I also want to include multiple images and influence my own SEO (title tag, description)

My latest article - is my old Baltimore travel site (online since 1999). The article, itself has little to do with art, but there is a link to my Baltimore Collection here at the top of every page (in the main nav menu) throughout the entire site.

Link: Cross Street Market - A modern example of “If it ain’t broke don’t fix it,” perhaps?

It started out as an internal link roundup, only for me to discover I had left that thought hanging last year. So here are all six of my watercolor flamingo paintings in one spot:

The Double-barred Finch – a Pretty Little Bird
Bird Photography with marysejansenart
Always on high alert

The grass is tall, taller than me and I’m not a shortie! I don’t know the name of this grass but I’ve started nick-naming it Elephant Grass. It grows wildly after a bit of rain. It flowers with large plumes and produces lots and lots of seeds. This is what the Double-barred Finches go crazy on.

I blog on Our Arts Magazine once a week and then share it on several other sites. Sometimes it's art related and always life related (since all of us have a life!).

OK, So Kathy's post - just reminded me - to post another blog link. I just wrote/posted this article today - as the day progressed. I wanted a large (16x20) print as part of a Mother's Day presentation - and my wife just told me last evening how much she really liked one particular image of one of her favorite pansies.

So, here's the link: Local Printing Sources for Photographs

The many great uses of Lomandra longifolia
Wildflower Photography with marysejansenart
The grassy plant also known as Spikey-headed Mat Rush

Lomandra longifolia looks like a simple clump of thick, long grass but there is a lot more to it! The flowers are fascinating in the least!
