It is greenspace area between homes in a retirement community in Southern California.
(Edit: to those wondering where this is)

In this version of Gaby Ehtington's donated image for Abbie Shores' Edit Challenge 57, I added a guy with his drone lifting in the air (originally captured at Downs Park in Pasadena MD). I cleaned up many dust spots showing up in the sky area. I then added a UAP (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena otherwise known as a UFO) with a red laser beam emanating from the bottom of the craft toward the white drone. I added a glow around the laser beam. To heighten the effect, I also added a glow to the drone with flames and smoke coming from it.
My first version had just the guy and white drone but I felt it might not be enough for the challenge.

Milija,
I Really, Really LIKE your entry!!
(Perhaps, you might want to crop out that bit of a tree on the left)

Thank you Roger!
No, I was considering about adding another little bit of a tree to the right :)

Here's my creation. I blended in the pine tree and green space with bench into a spring season photo I took at a Japanese themed botanical garden in Springfield Missouri, USA with natural mirrored reflections in the pond. I added the Canada Goose in the water that is resting on one leg on a log. I also had to add reflections of the Edit This photo and the goose photo into the water to keep it looking natural. Then I added some clouds to the sky. Both a color or black and white options.

This is another entry into Abbie Shores' Edit Challenge 57. Original Image of a retirement community donated for the challenge by Gaby Ethington.
In this version I thought I would envision what the scene might look like from a military point of view... seeing it through night vision binoculars. I added a chopper in the sky, a couple of soldiers on the ground and their shadows. Of course the typical binocular view with a black outside edge and green "night vision" tint of the view including coordinates in white lines and numbers.

In this version of Gaby Ehtington's donated image for Abbie Shores' Edit Challenge 57, I added a group of guys, all in white, in a retirement community, out on the lawn for some croquet. I added shadows for them as well and replaced the original blue but blank sky. Please click the pic for full view...

Using the Gaby Ethington photo donated to Abbie Shores' Edit This 57 contest, I cropped to just the housing area and the immediate yard. I enlarged the house, straightened it and adjusted color to the entire photo. Then I added a pot of Hens and Chickens, a couple daffodils, a patch of hyacinths and enlarged a stand of crocus. The final touch was to add a stem of hyacinth in the foreground as if seen from the flower box of a neighboring porch.
How does your garden grow?

Just wanted to tell you Abbie, aside from sales this contest is my favorite thing about FAA. :) Thanks for hosting it!
Also thanks to Gaby for the photo on this one!

In this semi-abstract version of Gaby Ehtington's donated image for Abbie Shores' Edit Challenge 57, I copied the image, reversed it horizontally and stitched it on to the original layer, creating a pano while duplicating most of the elements in a reversed mirrored half.
I added facial profiles in the trees. (See if you can find all five). Hint: three are children and two are parents.
I added a sunburst effect (blurred it) and added a 2nd one to accent the top. I added a semi-abstract image of musical notation in the sky between the large trees.
Another hint... the title, "Face The Music" relates to the hidden faces.

In this version of Gaby Ehtington's donated image for Abbie Shores' Edit Challenge 57, I extended the bottom to make room for a pond and reflections. I also added a shoreline and lawn furniture with an elderly man and lady sitting under a table umbrella. She has a basket and drink while they enjoy a pleasant day outdoors. I replaced the blank sky with one that had fluffy clouds for more interest. I gave the pond a slight movement including a ripple and also added the shoreline around the pond with dirt, tall grasses and plants.

Two cabins sit at the base of a rock formation known as Puma Rock. A popular rock climbing spot, this location sees visitors from all over the world. All attempt the perilous climb to the top. Those that make it usually go only as far as the tall trees on the rock formation's shoulder. The rocks above are loose, making any further ascent difficult at best.

Looks like everyone is in love with the big pine; so, I thought I'd offer my vision of it.
Caressed
Using a photo supplied by Gaby Ethington in an Edit This 57 contest hosted by Abbie Shores, I isolated the top of the central pine tree and added a silvery moon behind it. I laid in a digital painting for the sky.

This is a special place, it's a summer camp for little artists. It's not like some other nasty places, here all children are safe and happy. We could play a lot in this beautiful garden, and if it would get too sunny we would sit around a big pine tree.
We could draw and paint even on some walls and nobody would get upset.
We had rules to follow, of course, the first one was to be kind.
At the end of the day we could write down on a big white poster our points. It would be on the ground so that even little ones like me would be able to write on it.
After you got many points you could go on a hot air balloon! This day there were 4! I didn't go, but I was happy just the same to be there, to play with my balloon and to look around: up to the sky there were birds, a huge kite, and clouds, but not the scary ones. These were white and some even formed a heart shape!
There were so many flowers, I wished a little boy would just pick up one for me, instead of bringing me stink bugs!
Anyway, this was a truly wonderful place and any child would love to be there!

I'm still thinking, "Edit This 57"
Thought about making an colored ink study of the tree.
Decided for expediency sake, on just the tippity top.
Creating a smear of the background
So, I gave the image a clean, digital blue background
Not too happy with the results
So, I played with the digital manipulations provided on the MS Photo program
Here is one, (Zeke)
Will continue to think about it all
Still got a day to go
