Have you heard of PureRef?

This is a program that allows you to bring up images in its own window. Then you can add them across into your photo editor. No hassles.

You can give them a donation or take it for free.

Interesting. Same concept as Microsoft One Note, but free and geared specifically to images. I'm not sure it would benefit me, but I may play with it at home.

I had a look at the website, but it doesn't really have much info on exactly what this program does. At least, not that I saw. I get the impression that it's a Picture Manager program, i.e. a picture equivalent of maybe something like Media Monkey or Windows Media Player for music.

John,

Opening up a new image and adding it to what you are working with in an editor can be a hassle. This simplifies that and stores reference photos. The reference photos are for 3D modelling. If you were creating a collage in Photoshop this would help you. Or if you want to open a second window in a window to see a reference photo to match up your work and make it more realistic.

In the digital marketing and graphic arts departments this is a commonly used app.

Hmmm... Only a two-person company and the app has not been around for very long at all.

Cheers

Interesting my Tube source was saying it is in common use. It may have spread like wildfire. That can happen. My source recorded the stuff I am watching in Dec 2021.

But my source is marketing things. Not many things, but a plug I guess.
