I just finished this one today, barely in time for the contest deadline! :O "Just FEEL a Prayer -- Uploaded for the challenge from the "SOULFUL TREES - A DREAMSCAPE" contest: "Mysterious nature, places that we would visit if we could walk through a portal to a world of mysticism." Originally I took a photoshoot of my magnolia tree for a blooming trees contest, but didn't make their deadline; then this soulful trees dreamscape concept is what propelled my inspiration to use the opening in the branches for a mystical message. Edited with "Icarus" then "candy" tints, lightened & with a misty vignette, enlarged canvas, and a digitally added text which is one of my favorite Anne Shirley-isms. When I took this photo I literally had to humble myself low to the ground, look up up up into the blue sky... and now I pray this piece of art will brighten your day!" :)
This is another one that I find enchanting (besides mine!) :) -- a lovely soft pastel painting by Lilia Dalamangas -- because I can imagine walking through this trail of wishing flowers, to a land where the wishes come true. (I love blowing dandelion puff flowers and making wishes! I wish they would adorn more lawns as welcome guests in their sweet simplicity and audacity to survive, rather than be thought of as weeds to pick out before they reach full-wishable stature! :O )
