I like waterfalls too.
Here's one I took this past Saturday at Eugenia Falls in Ontario. The pathway down to the bottom was closed because there were a couple of recent accidents where people got hurt, so unfortunately (or maybe fortunately?), this is the closest I could get.
And here's one I took just yesterday. This is an area I used to play at a lot as a kid, so I have many fond memories of it. It's a small one, tucked away in a forest behind a residential neighbourhood. The site WaterfallsOfOntario.com lists over 600 waterfalls in the province, but not this one.

This watercolor painting is of the Vulcan Arenal in Costa Rica. The view of the volcano includes lush green tropical plants, colorful flowers & waterfalls.
I was staying in the local town of La Fortuna & fell in love with this garden of Eden landscape at Tabacon Hot Springs.
Costa Rica is one of my favorite travel destinations in Central America! So much natural beauty, rivers, oceans, rain forests, volcanoes & animal life!

This watercolor painting is a waterfall in Costa Rica. La Fortuna falls pour out from a green jungle & plummet into an aqua blue pool below. It's a short walk from the top, across a bridge & down the hillside steps to reach the canyon floor.
At the bottom pool, you feel the strong breeze of the powerful falls. Swim in the cool water surrounded by lush rain forest vegetation, tropical birds, monkeys & other animals.
The falls are magnificently invigorating & beautiful.

Acrylic painting on gessoed panel.
I enjoy prepping panel board for painting by applying several coats of gesso -- once each application is dry,
I sand the surface, wipe off residue with a damp cloth, repeating application procedure until I have a pristine,
smooth satin surface ready for my brushes to glide on.
I created this self-portrait as an example for those of my painting students who were uneasy about creating a self portrait.
They recognized me immediately by my posture, taking up the challenge to portray themselves in ways they were most comfortable with.

This watercolor painting captures the view from inside the cave at Hamilton Pool Preserve. The cave is a natural grotto with a swimming hole fed by lovely small waterfalls.
The color of the water & flow rate change with the season & rainfall.
No matter the weather, this scenic landmark landscape can be enjoyed year-round. Explore the hiking trails, Pedernales river & beautiful Texas Hill Country views.
This is a popular beloved travel destination for Austin Texas area visitors & locals.

This watercolor painting is a colorful abstract impression of a waterfall cascading down a steep cliff.
Bright sunlight illuminates the white water & yellow-green foliage on the two ledges. The rock cave shadows are a luminous deep purple.
These colors & textures offer a soft dreamy ethereal feel.

Seneca Mills Fall
This beautiful, three tier, cascading waterfall can be discovered on the Keuka Lake Outlet Trail as you journey down the trail from Penn Yan, New York, heading towards the Dresden end point of the trail. There is a parking spot along the road if you want to drive out to the falls and from the parking lot it is an easy relatively short walk back to the waterfall. The section of the gorge where Seneca Mills Fall is located is lined by large stone walls and a remnant of a large mill complex that at one time was located here. The first mill at Seneca Mill Falls was a grist mill that was erected in 1790. Seneca Mills Fall is by far the most desired location for people to stop and is likely also the most beautiful overall setting found along the trail.

Blackwater Falls
Blackwater Falls is located near Davis, West Virginia. The Blackwater River cuts a wide and deep scenic gorge that creates several long cascading falls along its path with Blackwater Falls being the most spectacular of the falls found along the rivers path and is 50 feet in height. There is a trail and some boardwalk areas that allow access to the falls and it is listed as a difficult climb in and out of the gorge. It is well over 200 steps down to the main observation area and of course over 200 steps back up with a couple of landings where one can rest and catch your breath if necessary.
We did not find it that difficult at all but that will certainly depend on your own individual circumstances. When the water is at its higher levels very little if any of the segmented rock face can be seen and this image shows the water at somewhat more of a normal flow exposing a very scenic view of the segmented rock face behind and around the flowing water
