I am going to try to revive the Tweet And Retweet For Success thread. I really liked the thread because it actually gets our art seen outside of FAA on one of the main Social Media Platforms on the Internet.
I want to change the program to something that will be less labor-intensive and at the same time maybe give us double exposure.
So, here is a new idea.
We are going to post A LINK here with your Twitter handle. Do not the image here until Abbie approves it as an Image thread.
You make sure you follow the artist that posted the link and then you Retweet that image. Wait until at least one person posts after you before you post again.
While you are in your Twitter account go to that same artist's Pinned Tweet and retweet it also.
Each time you post you have to Retweet everyone that posted since your last post.
I will post the first image to give us a start.
Please keep in mind this thread is for people that like and want to promote and get promoted on Twitter. It is not to discuss or debate the merits of co-op advertising, Social Media advertising or anything else thank you.

Western Flyer Vintage Bicycle by Floyd Snyder
This old Western Auto Western Flyer bicycle is hanging on a fence at Windmill Farms
Some of us are old enough to remember when Western Auto Stores were much, much more than auto parts and hardware. They were was the place for a lot of major appliances and other items as well as one of the largest suppliers of bicycles to small communities all across America.
Windmill Farms has a great gift shop and deli, a petting zoo and hundreds and hundreds of pot of all sizes.
It is a great place to stop and visit and take a look at this vintage old truck and see if you recognize it. But they do not sell bicycles.
Enjoy! Floyd Snyder, FASGallery.com

Forgot to mention that we want to post a title and description in this thread with the link to increase our chances of getting picked up by Google.
Here is the link to the last version of the program that Judy Whitton was running. Here is the last list that she published of the people that were participating. We will no longer need to maintain a list. People can come and go and post as they have time.

My bad. I obviously didn't explain myself very well.
Thanks for playing Stefano.
The idea is you click on the image I shared above, the first on, Western Flyer. Use the Twitter share button to Tweet my image and then my Pinned Tweet.
Then you post an image of your own and we do the same for you.
Thanks again.

Those Were The Days by Floyd Snyder
This display takes us back on a real nostalgic trip today when carhops and drive-in restaurants that all but become a thing of the past.
The Woodland Automobile Display is a museum in Paso Robles, California, which showcases vintage, classic, and historic vehicles. The museum's primary focus is racing vehicles, with a concentration of NASCAR Sprint, Modified, Super Modified, and Midget race cars. The Woodland Auto Display is located on the grounds of the Estrella Warbird Museum at the Paso Robles Municipal Airport in central California. The Woodland Auto Display was opened to the public on July 19, 2009 . Originally just under 5,000 square feet of display area, by 2015, it had grown to approximately 17,000 square feet of covered display area. Another 7,000 square feet of restoration shop is located off-site.
Most of the vehicles on display have been restored to the original condition as when first built. Some of the cars came off the track and required little to no restoration, while some were restored to pristine condition after being rolled, wrecked, worn out or demolished.
Founded by vintner and car aficionado Richard "Dick" Woodland, the collection also includes numerous well-known vintage and classic automobiles, along with preserved historical motorcycles.

DescriptionReflection Pismo Pier by Floyd Snyder
Pismo Beach, California is one of the great tourist destinations on the Central Coast of California. It is famous for the once plentiful Pismo Clam but not is more famous as an oceanside getaway for its beaches, camping on the beach, first-class resort hotels, and fantastic seafood and steak restaurants.
Oh, and it's beautiful sunsets!!
All of our images are available as fine art prints as well as a variety of souvenir products including T-Shirts, tote bags, pillows, cell phone covers and others. Enjoy! -Floyd Snyder

Surf's Up VW Bus Camper Van Morro Bay by Floyd Snyder
Surf's Up VW Bus Camper Van Morro Bay by Floyd Snyder
This old bus was sitting in the parking lot near the public bathrooms and showers in Morro Bay, California.
The bus is equipped with an add on air-condition unit in the rear, side window, that red box you see. It has a spare tire on the front and had another one on the back along with a big metal rack loaded with firewood. The owner of this rig was either doing some heavy-duty camping and traveling or he was living in it.
He obviously just got out of the ocean because the surfboards had just been tied to the top and I could see where the water had dripped off onto the blacktop.
This Volkswagen surfer van is a throwback to the days of Gidget and Moondoggie and the only thing that was missing to set the mood was the Beach Boys belting out the hit tune Surfin' Safari!
The surfer vans and VW Campers along with the Woodies of those days were not just riding, or a car, or a mode of transportation, they were a lifestyle. Apparently, they still are for some people!

Fishing off the San Simeon Pier by Floyd Snyder
San Simeon Pier located on the Central Coast of California in San Luis Obispo Country is one of the most highly visited piers in California.
Right across the street from the small unincorporated town of San Simeon is the entrance of California's most popular State Park attraction, Hearst Castle.
Most of the land surroundings San Simeon and Hearst Castle is still owned by the Hearst Corporation where descendants of William Randolf Hearst still sit on the board of directors and are very much involved in the day-to-day operations.
Hearst holdings in San Simeon include the famous Sebastien Store which includes one of the great delis on the Central Coast as well as tasting room serving up Hearst Wine and selling Hearst Beef that is raised and sold right they on the Hearst Rach that surrounds Hearst Castle and San Simeon.
We have several images of Hearst Castle and San Simeon including the famous historical site Sabastien's Store. Visit FASGallery.com and search on Hearst and then on San Simeon.

Thank you to everyone that has joined in.
Just so everyone knows, this is not a one and done program. You can post as many images as you want as long as you allow at least one other person to add an image between your posts.
Just look at the notifications on your Twitter account to see who is retweeting. Other than that, this is pretty much on the honor system.

Good to see this thread revived, Floyd. Thank you for doing so. I have Tweeted all the way to my last post -- the requested image of this thread, and then the pinned Tweet from each person's handle. If the link is a pixels one as opposed to FAA, I can't Tweet the requested image (if anyone knows how this can be done, I'd like to know). Instead, I tweeted an additional image from the person's Twitter handle.

The weather in the alpine mountains is different from the lowlands, and while the landscapes of below are still enjoying summer, snow falls in the mountains. The dusting of white over the branches of the trees is an early harbinger of Christmas. First Snow in the Elkhorn Mountains, original oil painting and art print by Steve Henderson.

Take a deep breath ink and watercolor painting.
A cute cat is enjoying the fragrance of a beautiful pink flower. Inhale and relax! The minimalistic pen and ink drawing of the cat and the loose watercolor washes of the flowers in shades of pink and purple are generating an interesting contrast.

On a high plateau in the Wallowa Valley of Oregon, USA, the clouds look over a sweeping landscape. A lone barn stands as sentinel, watching the few travelers wander by. It is a cool, crisp day, and the wind in the sky causes the clouds to swirl and sworl, creating an ever painting of blue and white.

Orchid with Taihu Stone (太湖石)
In Chinese culture it represents integrity, nobility and friendship, all of which are virtues of a perfectly cultured gentleman and scholar.
Taihu Stone is a kind of limestone produced at the foot of Dongting Mountain (洞庭山) in Suzhou. It is used to build rockeries in gardens and for use along the edges of small ponds or lakes, to enhance the beauty of landscape. It is often referred to as scholar's rocks.
