I was 27 when my interest in art enticed me to start to paint. It took another four years to become serious about it, painting after work and on week-ends. I have now been painting professionally for nearly 37 years. I grew up on farms and ranches in the Hill Country and Panhandle of Texas and my subjects reflect my love of western landscapes, Native Americans, and cowboy life. I moved to New Mexico in 1964.
