SEMI ABSTRACT - 1 A DAY

1. Original 'QUALITY' semi abstract artworks only allowed in this group with medium of choice by artist being the prime factor for allowing image into the group by group admin.

2. NO PHOTOGRAPHY/PHOTOGRAPHIC ART/PHOTO ART/ DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY/ DIGITAL ART only in FAA ARTWORK SITE MEDIUM USED INDICATOR

IE ***If I see in the FINE ART AMERICA MEDIUM selection area for any image just PHOTOGRAPH, PHOTOGRAPHY, PHOTO ART, ART PHOTOGRAPHY, 2D DIGITAL IMAGE, DIGITAL ART, DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY OR PHOTOGRAPHY-GICLEE, I will delete the image regardless of how it looks to me from now on.****

NB**** DIGITAL ART can be any image that's digitally produced and that included photographs (most photography these days are digital and can be called art).....so as a medium it will no longer be accepted in this group as a selected medium alone or along with photography; although DIGITAL MANIPULATION/PAINTING/DRAWING will be accepted.

When in doubt with digitally manipulated photography and art the 'MIXED MEDIA', 'PHOTOPAINTING', 'DIGITALLY ALTERED', 'DIGITALLY MANIPULATED', 'DIGITAL PAINTING' or 'DIGITAL DRAWING' are options for consideration and acceptable for this group criteria.


Also please remember images must have some semblance to living things as we know them; ie that is why this group is called SEMI ABSTRACT. No complete abstracts but also no completely real images! So semi abstract and also semi real! Hope that is a clear enough description for everyone's understanding. But remember ***NB the medium stated on the art site must also reflect this.

3. Images with script are allowed, but a visual semi abstract image/picture must accompany that script. ie NO SCRIPT ONLY.

4. NB If I have to try too hard to understand what I'm looking at I will delete the image regardless of descriptions......and no images that are too dark either!

5. FRACTAL art is not allowed in this group.

6. Also black & white photos with no clear semi abstract component will not be accepted either - and this again must be further clarified through the appropriate use of selected medium when uploading or editing image to/on FAA website. In addition out of focus or blurry photography does not equate to 'semi abstract art' in this group!

7. Submission of images in print media mode form only allowed......ie no tote bags, t-shirst or other accessories items sold on FAA or Pixel/or in (3D) framed hanging within room design.

8. NO EXPLICIT SEXUAL, VIOLENT, HORROR OR HATEFUL IMAGES!
Members who repeatedly submit these kind of images will be deleted from the group as well as their images without warning.

9. 1 IMAGE PER DAY


All images not fitting above descriptions criteria for this group will be removed without notice.
