Description
One February evening in 2020 just prior to the pandemic shutdowns, I walked around the Texas A&M Campus with my camera and tripod. I was treated by a WONDERFUL sunset! The tower photographed here is the Albritton Bell Tower with Carillon bells that plays beautiful songs. Cast in Annecy-le-Vieux, France, the Bell Tower’s Carillon contains 49 bells ranging from the smallest bell at 28 lbs. to the largest at 6,550 lbs. The bells and chimes are programmed to sound every quarter hour, then for special events to play the Spirit of Aggieland and hymns during Silver Taps.
