Congrats on composing this photo to get both the Ajax and Hercules into the photo. I am very familiar with this location as I was stationed there in 1968-69. Went back years later and they didn't have the Hercules out front the time as they were working on it. I saw a photo on the website of Sandy Hook and then realized what you did to compose it...well done. Didn't ya just wish you had a spray can of white paint to cover the peeling paint on the Ajax!! Again, well done and thank you.

As a vet of the Nike Hercules era, I was looking for a photo of a Hercules Missile for a friend as a gift who happens to live in a desert, and this fit perfectly. Thank you for not putting the subject directly in the middle, I too am a photographer.

The setting sun about to sink into the Pacific Ocean, taken from Iquique on the coast of the Atacama Desert in northern Chile. The last rays of the sun are just catching the wet rocks on the beach, adding a nice glow to the foreground.
