The beach towel is really just for laying on inasmuch as it is too big and heavy to put around your body, which is just fine. The artwork in it is beautiful. I can't wait to use it.

Wow - I didn't realise it was going to be that big! It's a gift for a young member of the family - I think he'll be thrilled as he's a tractor fanatic at 6 years old. A practical gift too. The towel has a smoother upper side so it'll be more comfortable to sit on at the beach. It seems to have a thick absorbent power so no usual skinny beach towel.

A beautiful golden sunset and vehicle tracks through shallow water on the surface of the Salar de Uyuni in southwest Bolivia make for a dramatic landscape of lines and surreal patterns and textures. The Salar de Uyuni is the world's largest salt flat, covering 10,582 square km / 4,086 square miles. It sometimes floods (to a depth of only a few cm, the region is generally very arid) during the rainy season, turning it into a huge mirror reflecting the skies, often with stunning results, especially at sunrise and sunset. The textures are due to the rough surface of the salt in areas where the water is very shallow.
