I had been searching for some meaningful art to hang on the wall behind my couch. I was thrilled to come across this print. This was the view from my first apartment window ten years ago. Displayed are technical drawings of a tracing device from a patent issued on September 25, 1962. The patent, filed by A. Grandjean on July 23, 1959, shows multiple views of the invention with detailed components labeled in each figure. Arthur Grandjean, from Paris, France, is noted as the inventor with an assignment to Paul Chaze, located in Le Kremlin-Bicêtre (Seine), France.
