Artist's Description
Depicted here are patent illustrations of a toy commonly known as a "Slinky," which is a helical spring that can perform a variety of tricks, including traveling down a flight of stairs. Drawn in a vintage style, the illustrations show different positions of the toy being held by a pair of hands. The document is dated January 28, 1947, and includes the name of the inventor, R. T. James, and reference numbers suggesting that it is the second sheet of a three-sheet submission.
