The beach towel is really just for laying on inasmuch as it is too big and heavy to put around your body, which is just fine. The artwork in it is beautiful. I can't wait to use it.

Wow - I didn't realise it was going to be that big! It's a gift for a young member of the family - I think he'll be thrilled as he's a tractor fanatic at 6 years old. A practical gift too. The towel has a smoother upper side so it'll be more comfortable to sit on at the beach. It seems to have a thick absorbent power so no usual skinny beach towel.

A beautiful golden sunset casts a warm glow over a small lake and wetlands near Parinacota in Lauca National Park in the far north of Chile. The wetlands are a type called bofedales which are mainly found in the high altiplano regions of the Andes. They consist of Oxychloe andina cushion plants and other species of grasses and mosses interspersed with shallow pools and rivulets. They are often the main source of water in dryer regions and home to various species of waterbirds. The Park is also part of the Lauca Biosphere Reserve, recognised by UNESCO in 1981. The peak in the distance is Larancagua (5439m / 17,845ft).
