My wife adore this picture. She just wished it was in a bigger size.. and had gloss on the photo

I'm so appreciative for Steven's magic hour photo of one of my favorite places along Portland's waterfront. My acupuncture clinic of eleven years recently closed unexpectedly, and this walk along the waterfront was part of my visits there--an extension of the healing process.

Picture was better than expected. It looks exactly like I remembered when visited Hvar.

Gorgeous art that shows up well on the piece. The wood is substantial but not too heavy--easy to hang. Woodgrain is lightly visible through the print, which adds texture and a rustic flair.

Already then I liked to look at the world through the lens, crop it, select the best shots. After a few years I took over the camera, but did not take photography seriously. It was just learning, only technical aspect, skill and knowledge of photographs from the hardware side. At least at the end of ’80 and the beginning of ’90...

For those wondering, this is a very famous abandoned train station in Detroit. All the windows were broken out until recently they were all replaced. Detroit is going through a renaissance and there are plans in the works to restore this building to glory.
