I love this view of downtown Sarasota, Florida at sunset. I would have never got this composition without my husband, Mike. He likes to be on the lookout for great angles for me. I was on the other side of this pond totally engrossed photographing the One Sarasota Tower, and I saw Mike on the other side of the pond waving his arms at me as if to say, "Come here! I found an amazing angle!" I knew that look and that meant come asap! So I ran over, and when I saw this reflection in the pond I set up my tripod and camera so fast, I wanted to capture the sky before the colors disappeared. I had enough time to take 6 photos that I stitched together to create this beautiful panorama. It's 1586 x 7100 pixels so it can be printed large up to 72" x 44"!

If you look closely you can see the kissing statue on the far left side of the image. Also the Westin and One Sarasota Tower are on the right side. Currently this area is under construction to add a circle at the intersection, so the statue has been moved to nearby Bayfront Park.

This is an image of a pond reflection at the One Sarasota Tower (a 12-story glass building) in Sarasota, Florida at sunset. It is a prominent landmark in the city because of its central downtown location and proximity to the harbor and beaches. The glass exterior creates beautiful reflections of the colorful sky as the sun goes down. The One Sarasota Tower houses businesses like Chase, Raymond James, Gates Construction, Blalock Walters, Todd R. Stern, Baird, and others. There are incredible views of Sarasota Bay, the Ringling Bridge, and the harbor from this building. Across the street is a high rise hotel, the Westin, which has a rooftop bar view of the city, the Ritz Carlton Hotel, and the famous "Unconditional Surrender" kissing statue. The One Sarasota Tower was built in 1988. Sarasota is a beautiful city on the west coast of Florida in-between Bradenton and Venice. Beautiful beaches like Siesta Key are nearby on the Gulf of Mexico.
