Allan was a good online friend for years, so I am delighted to have one of his photos. As far as I can tell without seeing an actual darkroom print, it's a faithful reproduction. All my own printing today is by inkjet, so I'm happy. I'm thinking of also buying either "Incarnation of Atget, Eleutherian Mills," or "Cat Contemplating the Bust of Apollo, Eleutherian Mills."

I had been looking for something special to hang in my bathroom for a very long t ime. I tried a couple things over th eyears, but they just weren't right. THIS is perfect!! Its high quality, looks idential to the photo on the website. Beautiful. Very hig h quality. I'll have this for a very long time.

I based this original painting on the sculpture "Triumph of Silenus", by Jules Dalouin, in the Jardin du Luxembourg, Paris.
I tried to capture the intensity of the moment as the followers of Silenus, who is drunk and oblivious, try desperately to keep him on his donkey.
