A weathered wooden pier leads out into calm waters, ending abruptly with a collection of broken pilings and remnants of a structure. The sky above transitions from warm orange hues near the horizon to cooler blues, captured in a long exposure that smoothes out the water and streaks the clouds across the sky. The scene conveys a sense of serene abandonment at twilight or dawn.
