Very pleased with the image, color, printing . My selection of printing onto wood is great for this image. There are a few mildly dark lines which are natural to wood. They show through the image and contribute to the image--glad that none of these was over the face of the horse rider.

Perfect! I wish that you'd included a translation of the two inscriptions in some ancient language that are above the shoulders of St John Coltrane. It would cost your company virtually nothing to supply this with the picture.
Artist's Description
This painting was painted on location in San Francisco during the mid 80's of one of the many icons of this city, Coit Tower. I did this painting, then climbed the Filbert Street Stairway to the tower and checked that out, doing another painting along the way on the stairs leading up the steep hill.
About Donald Maier
Donald Maier graduated from the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Arts, in Newark, New Jersey in 1968. He won several state and local show awards in the early seventies, including 1st place in oils at the Garden State Art Center in 1971, 1st place for Watercolor at the Red Bank Festival of Arts in 1972 and an Honorable Mention in the Emerging Artists exhibit at Rutgers University in 1973. He had numerous one-man shows in both New Jersey, California and Georgia and has exhibited in many fine galleries in California, Scottsdale, Arizona, Santa Fe, New Mexico and Georgia.
