Hi everyone. This Contest is Photography Only. The Theme is Life In A Small Town Or Village

No nudity please. We'll keep it Family Friendly. Please Read the following Guidelines Carefully Before Submitting your Entry.

Any Photos Not Honoring the Guidelines and Theme will be Removed. We're looking for a Sense Of Place. And that Place is in a Small Town or Village, And signs of the Life happening within it.

Not a big city in an 'ironic' way. Not a nature photograph of a lake, river, beach, park, forest, hillside, farm, etc., inferring that it's near a small town. We actually want to be in the town.
Not a close-up photograph of flowers, insects, birds, pets, etc., inferring that it was shot in a small town. Without the environment behind it, it could've been shot anywhere. Like in a big city park. The relationship of the subject to the environment is important here. One should feel an undeniable Sense Of Place just by looking at the photo. In other words, we're looking for scenes of A Day In The Life Of A Small Town or Village. Anywhere, Planet Earth.

I hope that helps make things more clear.

In order to keep it an even playing field, images that have been Digitally Painted, Digitally Altered, as well as Mixed Media, False Backgrounds, Added Graphics or Text will not be allowed.

Two Images per Photographer allowed. FAA Members may Vote for as many Images as they like.
