Contest Rules

Candid Street Door Scene Photography Contest PLEASE READ THE RULES OF THE CONTEST BEFORE SUBMITTING ANY IMAGES AS IMAGES NOT ON THE CONTEST THEME WILL BE DELETED WITHOUT NOTICE.

The Contest is hosted by John Hughes, Group Administrator of the Candid Street Photography Group.

The rules are PHOTOGRAPHS ONLY.
Images submitted to the Contest must have as it's main subject a Candid Street Door Scene, it must be a street scene featuring a Door or Doors, no people or animals are allowed in the image and the main feature must be the door or doors, again I repeat that any images that do not adhere to the rules will be removed without notice,, see the Contest Logo for an example. Photographs may be colour or black and white.

This Contest and the Hosting Group are Family Friendly, any inappropriate images will be removed without notice, the submitting photographer removed from the Candid Street Photography Group. As previous Contests were subject to vote solicitation, despite the rules, voting has been removed and the Contest will be decided by a Jury consisting of Candid Street Photography Group Members.

Slight alterations like cropping is allowed but no Digital painting or excessive Digital manipulation.
Up to 3 photographs may be submitted by each member. Colour and Black and White photographs are accepted.
The Contest is open to all FAA Members, however, you are encouraged to join the Candid Street Photography Group as the entries placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd will be featured on the Group's Homepage.
In the interest of fairness I as Group Administrator will not submit any of my own photographs in the Contest.
The decision of the Group Administrator is final.
